This Dating Life, Cut Short

A while ago, in the very first of the mostly disastrous outcome "This Dating Life" series, I wrote how amazing it would be to be in a relationship you knew was doomed. No pressure at all, and with any luck, you could skip buying gifts at Valentine's Day and her birthday.
